Ardn CRM for Construction: Jobs, Service and Dispatch on One Record

Ardn CRM business-health dashboard

Introduction

Ardn CRM for construction is a CRM built around jobs, work orders, sites, service requests and bookings for roofing, windows and home improvement, residential and commercial general contractors, and real estate. Ardn designed and built it and launched it as its own product; it is priced by modules and locations, never per seat, with a setup fee and an optional managed service.

Challenge

  • Generic CRMs stop at the sale. Contractors needed the deal to become a job, with sites, crews and work orders that follow.
  • Per-seat pricing kept the field out. Crew leads who needed to see a job were another license, so most of the team worked from texts.
  • Service fell through. Callbacks sat in an inbox until the customer called again.
  • Dispatch by phone. Who was where today was answered by calling around.
  • Switching means moving history. Nobody wants to lose years of accounts and notes to change tools.

Solution

1. A business-health dashboard

Pipeline value, jobs in progress, open service requests and revenue on one screen, so the owner knows how the business is doing before the Monday meeting.

2. Pipeline board and deal pages

Leads from the website, referrals and calls land in one pipeline with stages the contractor defines. Each deal page shows every call, email, visit and quote on a timeline.

3. Quotes that become jobs in one click

Quotes are built from the product and service list, so pricing is consistent across estimators. When the customer accepts, one click converts the quote into a job with its line items, site and contact already in place.

4. A service desk with SLA clocks

Every service request gets an SLA clock based on priority. Requests that are not picked up or resolved in time escalate automatically, and customers rate the visit when it closes.

5. Dispatch and work orders

A dispatch board shows crews, work orders and bookings by day and location. Assigning from the board updates the work order for the crew.

6. Accounts, reports and migration

  • Accounts hold sites, contacts, quotes, jobs and service requests for one customer, with lifetime value on the page.
  • Reports cover the conversion funnel, revenue by source and service performance.
  • Ardn migrates accounts, contacts, deals, job history and notes from the previous CRM as part of setup.

Results

  • Sales, jobs and service on one record, from the first call to the finished job.
  • The whole team in the system, because pricing follows modules and locations rather than head count.
  • No service request forgotten: SLA clocks, automatic escalation and a customer rating on every close.
  • Dispatch everyone can see, without a phone call.
  • History carried over from the previous CRM by Ardn, and an optional managed service to run it.
