2. How does it detect inactive users?

It checks users' last login activity. You can define the inactivity threshold (e.g., 60 or 90 days) based on your organization’s needs.

3. Can I warn users before deactivation?

Yes. You can send automated warning emails using your custom templates a few days before deactivation.

4. What if I want to exclude certain users?

You can easily exempt users by profile, permission set, or individual user ID—ensuring complete control over who’s monitored.

5. Is License Guard secure and native to Salesforce?

Yes. It’s built 100% on Salesforce using Apex and Flows, with no third-party dependencies.

6. How can I change the inactivity period?

Simply go to the License Guard Settings tab within the app, and update the “Inactivity Period (Days)” field. You can customize this to match your internal policy—whether it’s 30, 60, 90 days or more.
